These flies are hand-tied by Patrick, a talented young fly angler, and we are selling them on his behalf to help fund his journey.
The Slush Egg is an ideal choice for Euro nymphing in the Taupo rivers during winter, whether you fish it as a single fly or as the heavy point fly in your rig. That said, it works equally well for indicator nymphing. I have personally fished alongside Patrick and seen just how incredibly successful these flies are on the water.
They come in packs of 10 and are available in two tungsten bead sizes to cover different water types:

4.0mm: Ideal for shallower water like riffles.

4.6mm: Heavyweight for deep pools or very fast, deeper water.
Bead colours are mixed and may vary from pack to pack, but they are mostly metallic silver and pink. Your best option is to grab a pack in each size so you are completely covered for whatever water conditions you run into.
