Silver Bead Hare and Thread Fly
The Hare and Thread fly is a slightly different take on the classic hare and copper. Tied with bright red thread instead of wire as a rib, this fly has a bit more attraction, paired with a shiny silver bead. This fly has fished well in competitions on NZ rivers.
About This Range of Euro Nymphing Flies
Every fly in this range is tied on barbless jig hooks with slotted tungsten beads. The flies are sold by bead size — because getting to the right depth is the most critical factor in euro nymphing.
