The ILFF Indian Cock Neck Cape – Grade A Natural (not dyed)
The Indian Cock Cape feathers come from the Turrall Indian cock neck (non-genetic) and can be used on a wide variety of flies offering great value to the fly tyer. The cock neck feathers are stiff and webby and are popular for use on any fly that requires hackles including streamer patterns, spiders, emergers and dries. Use for palmered hackles, parachutes and others. Also good for use as wings and tails. For dry flies, they usually have enough small feathers to tie down to #14’s, but be ready to use two hackles to fill out the collar and the stems may be a bit stiff.
- Ideal for wet and dry Trout fly tying.
- Also use for streamer patterns, wings, hackle and tail patterns.
- One cock neck cape per pack.
- Good amount of usable feathers.
- Approximately 19cm length x 11cm width.
