ORANGE Squirmy Wormie - Super Soft Squirmy Wormies are strong stretch round rubber "legs" that are most often used to imitate a worm pattern. Use these fake worms for fishing in place of Chernille on a San Juan Worm and watch your fly come to life. You can also use them to wrap as bodies creating some simple, grub like flies. Squirmy Wormie flies are bulky and can get hung up in the water column as they sink. This prevents you from quickly dropping your fly right in front of the fish's face. For this reason, it's best to tie them with (tungsten) bead.  You can always, pair a squirmy wormie fly with heavily weighted nymphs or add some tungsten putty or split shot.
