Ben – I Love Fly Fishing Ambassador
We were hopeful of fishing the Rakaia and camping down there for the night. No luch as whilst it’s an amazing backcountry spot it didn’t deliver as river was coloured. However close by is a tributary that my friend’s dad had known of from years ago so we decided to give it a shot. It required access permission and we got the green light. Turned out to be one of those days were it all came together. Plenty of rainbows and amazing views, 8 out of 10, for this stream, super happy.
