Brian, a professional guide, shows off a deadly Cleardrift soft egg pattern he uses with great success.
You may find the following egg pattern tied by me, useful.
Step 1 – Tie a thin strand of glow bug yarn onto a size 10 or 12 scud or egg hook.
Step 2 – Centrally position Cleardrift Egg over the eye of the hook.
Step 3 – Transfer tying thread carefully over Cleardrift Egg to hook eye end.
Step 4 – Split glo bug yarn in half , take one half over Cleardrift Egg and secure in place.
Step 5 – Fold yarn back and tie off head. Trim yarn as necessary. Add one drop of superglue to the head.
