Fly Fishing A Local Lake

Due to restrictions, I have been stuck in Auckland for 10 weeks now and have not seen a trout since. Auckland is not the trout mecca the rest of New Zealand is. I’m not a stillwater fisherman so reluctantly took on a little local lake. It was tough going but rather fun in the end. I managed to get a few trout! Woohoo. Not a bad little spot either. I will be going back to try and work it out a bit better. There is a local stream I will have to try as well. Hope you enjoy the video.
